Aloe Vera Gel

3 Ways to Completely Transform Your Hair Care Routine

Comments

  1. After having your Aloe on my shelf since I purchased it, I just read on the label that it should be refrigerated after opening! Should I discard it now?

    1. Hi Betty, No, no need to toss it. We recommend refrigeration for extended use and cooling. Your aloe gel will be good until the expiration date provided it is not subjected to excessively high temperatures. Thanks!

  2. I have had black, super straight fine hair, now turned white. It was very thick ad heavy despite fineness, but now at 75, it is noticeably more thin. At first, this was not so bad. Thick huge hair, silky, fine, doesn’t hold barrettes, hair pins, etc. I do best with rolled chignon and a Japanese style 2 pronged decorator thing woven in/out of the bun . Less hair was OK t first. I get that white hair is more fragile, and this approach makes sense – BUT- what about on white hair? Should I assume it is now dry (doesn’t really feel dry) and therefore be cautious with vinegar? I have used vinegar on and off and it does give more body. Can you all advise me on this hair? I do have your argan oil on hand- feeds a separate skin question.

    1. Hi Barbara, Thanks for reaching out. Sounds like you should definitely try and start with spacing out your washes. If you are washing daily, start only shampooing every other day, then after a while space it out even more. You should definitely do conditioner (daily if you like to rinse your hair) and a good hair mask/deep conditioning treatment once a week to give it some moisture. Try and brush with a boar bristle brush a few times a day to get the oils from your scalp to the ends too. Hope this helps!
