It’s the end of a long day. A looooooooonnnnnngggg day … Your muscles are practically speaking through long-winded, incessant aches and the amount of pressure built in your temples could create a diamond. In a word, you’re beat. This kind of mental and physical exhaustion requires some serious TLC, and luckily, Beauty By Earth has just the remedy. Find your own little oasis in an ultimate pamper night, full of relaxation, and no-toxins invited!
Step One: Indulge in the Environment
Finding relaxation during your pamper night can be a bit difficult if your pad doesn’t match the mood. First things first, prep your space by clearing out some of the clutter—just a quick sweep to foster a calming environment. Next, turn on some soothing tunes that speak to you. And, if you’re anything like me, you can’t go wrong with a candle or two. (Or five). These cool little candles serve a double purpose because the box they come in can be planted to grow poppies or sunflowers.
Step Two: Spoil Yourself with a Soak
As the great Sylvia Plath observes, “there must be quite a few things a hot bath won’t cure, but I don’t know many of them.” I wholeheartedly concur. Something about being completely encompassed by warmth is utterly indulgent. Want to take your relaxation to the next level? Toss in a bath bomb overflowing with essential oils and all things magic for your senses and skin.
Step Three: Pamper Those Piggies
Those phalanges typically suffer the most daily abuse. And, while a trip to the nail salon is such a treat, it isn’t always practical. Not to fear! There’s a lot that can be done from the comfort of your home.
For Pampered Hands:
- Fill a bowl that’s a decent size in respect to your hands with warm water. Feel free to add essential oils such as geranium essential oil.
- Then, moisturize your hands with a balm or butter.
- Trim nails and cuticles to your liking.
- Finally, paint those pretties to your heart’s content! Now is the perfect time to try out some fun new colors or designs.
It should be noted that there are many nail polishes on the market that contain an array of toxic ingredients. Here at BBE, this is simply a no go! You shouldn’t have to sacrifice safety for a particular look. Instead, use a natural brand such as Piggy Paint for a pop of color.
For Pampered Feet:
- First, soak your feet.
- Afterward, take a pumice stone and gently exfoliate any callouses or areas that have excess dead skin.
- Lastly but not least, moisturize with a thicker, healing cream.
Step Four: Mask-er of Disguise
Now is your chance! Put on your mask of clay and proceed to scare the pants off of the household! Trust me, it’s part of the experience.
All jokes aside, face masks are truly the crowning feature of any pamper night. Following a quick cleanse of the face, evenly apply a quarter-sized amount of the Beauty by Earth Hydrating Face Mask to the face and neck. Without a doubt, you’ll find your skin incredibly supple and rejuvenated.
There you have it—the ingredients for one STELLAR pamper night. It’s important to set some time aside every so often for these personal activities. You’ll be able to listen to your skin’s needs and become more in tune with your overall health.
